Abstract: Purpose- In today’s compelling business environment, socially responsible human resource management (SR-HRM) has evolved beyond mere compliance to become a strategic driver of organizational performance and workplace culture. This systematic literature review explores the multifaceted impact of SR-HRM by examining its role in enhancing employee well-being, ethical HR practices, talent retention, and sustainability. By integrating socially responsible HR strategies, organizations can foster higher employee engagement, strengthen corporate reputation, and achieve long-term competitive advantage. Originality/value – Research on socially responsible human resource management (SR-HRM) is scant. The current study identifies key challenges in executing SR-HRM and highlights rising trends that determine its impact. As businesses tackle surging demands for corporate accountability and sustainability, understanding the strategic value of SR-HRM is crucial for organizations striving to cultivate a resilient, high-performing workforce and a defining corporate image.
