Work-Life Balance and Employee Satisfaction: A Dynamic Systems Perspective in the Digital Age

Abstract
The digital era brought significant changes to work-life balance (WLB) and employee satisfaction because digital tools and technologies became widespread. Through qualitative research this study examines how work-life balance interacts with employee satisfaction based on various industries employee’s experiences and perceptions. The study conducted through in-depth interviews reveals both the challenges and opportunities created by digitalization which includes themes of flexible work arrangements and boundary blending along with diverse levels of role-based satisfaction. Research shows digital tools enhance both flexibility and productivity but they also blur work-life boundaries which can lead to increased employee stress and burnout. Employee well-being during the digital transformation depends critically on organizational support combined with effective communication and adaptive work policies. This research results offer important advice to both employers and employees about balancing life and employee wellbeing in the digital era. This study adds to the previous research of knowledge by providing a nuanced understanding of WLB and employee satisfaction amidst digital transformation.
